Women In Business

How will the ‘common mwananchi’ get to know MOZZi?

... Women are usually more honest, more sensitive to issues and bring a stronger sense of commitment and dedication to what they do. Maybe because they were mothers, and being a mother you have that special attention for the family, for the young, for children.
— Ellen Johnson Sirleaf

Technically, women make the decision in the purchases of a bigger percentage of what’s needed at home. That’s why NoMAK thought of women’s participation in the vector control programme, will be an effective process.  Insufficient engagement of women is one of the major challenges facing  the battle against malaria.

NoMAK  will work with WIB (Women In Business), a sector developed and registered in Kenya whose mandate is to integrate empowerment of Women In Business and Trade from all the 47 counties.

Aided by MOZZi products, WIB will lead to implement strategic preventive methods that will dramatically improve the coverage of malaria control countrywide. Since formation, WIB has continued to empower women, stir potential and accelerate the growth of their businesses through research on issues related to women in business, mentorship and providing advisory. NoMAK Limited and other development partners will carry out a nation-wide training for women in Kenya, on aspects of preventive measures to help eradicate malaria in Kenya.

Through WIB, NoMAK will have created employment opportunities to Kenyans, thus achieved WIB’s Mashinani mandates in the 47 counties; Women empowerment.
