How to protect kids from Malaria?

Malaria is a big killer for babies. World Vision reports that Malaria kills more than 450,000 children under age five each year worldwide. A child dies every minute from malaria. Sleeping under Insecticide-treated mosquito nets and Indoor spraying with insecticide are some of the recommended ways of protecting kids from Malaria. A nutritional diet for all children under five to ensure that they have the strength to fight the infection, increased public and parental education on how to prevent the spread of malaria and having a greater political commitment and funding to prevent and treat the disease are important ways to save kids from Malaria.

NOMAK’s main agenda is to fight Malaria using the most effective method; vector control. Vector control is any method used to limit or eradicate mammals, birds, insects or other arthropods which transmit disease pathogens. The reduction of the spread of Malaria can be aided by using MOZZI.

Anything or anywhere treated with MOZZI, become repellant to disease carrying insects like mosquitoes. For instance, when a baby is wrapped under a MOZZI treated fabric, the baby is safe from mosquito bites. Infants are usually sensitive to different products but MOZZI products have been tried and tested to fight against mosquito attack.

Living in a house whose paint contains MOZZI protects the children living in this home. Painting the walls in their schools with paint that contains this product is a great step to saving their lives.

Children are the future and so, protecting them from this deadly disease is protecting the world. They are environmentally friendly and so children are safe.

NOMAK is proud to be part of this great journey.
