NoMAK, which stands for ‘NO MALARIA KENYA’, is a Kenyan corporation with Kenyan board members. It was founded by the principals of Kleenhealth Australia and hunterPac Global, whose main focus is reducing the incidence and effects of malaria with the help of MOZZi. 

Dangers Posed by Malaria in Kenya


 

Malaria is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in Kenya.

Malaria accounts for 30-50% of all outpatient attendance and 20% of all admissions to health facilities.

170 million estimated working days are lost to malaria each year (MOH, 2001).

Malaria is also estimated to cause 20% of all deaths in children under the age of 5 years.
